To date we have been extremely fortunate that some of our members have generously covered our essential set up and operating costs and have provided invaluable time and expertise at no cost.
While we try to minimize our running costs, we do have some unavoidable operating expenses such as government fees, website costs etc. Generally from now on we will try to set our budgets so that such costs will be met by our annual membership fees. However we would very much love to build up a reasonable buffer in our SPA Inc. bank account so that we are sure that we can cover unexpected expenses and to take advantage of opportunities to advance our aims as and when they arise. For example to host a special event with a visiting professor from overseas or to cover expanding our programs.
Unfortunately such donations would NOT be tax deductible but would be greatly appreciated and we would use them as prudently and as wisely as we can.
Eventually we will have a form or automated payment option here but for now if you would like to help please contact us for details of how to make a financial contribution.
